Fishing Park and Resort
A relatively new Fishing Park and Resort just off the Sukhumvit Road about 10 minutes from Pattaya and close to the junction to Jomtien Beach. It is situated on 10 rai of land, there are 10 Chalets all beautifully furnished with air conditioning, t.v., refridgerator, etc. There are more chalets being built at present (12 April 2005) with land to build at least 15 more. The fishing resort is very well organised, owned by an elderly Thai lady, there are facilities for 12 shaded fishing platforms with tables and seats the waiters and waitresses serving food and drinks. There is a large outdoor restaurant overlooking the lake serving Thai and European dishes. The owner has a large 4 bedroom house which could be turned into an indoor restaurant and/or apartments if required. This resort is very popular with many local people and tourists all year round. The lake is well stocked with good fish, a good idea so as to bring visitors back again and the fish can be cooked on the premises. The resort is well sign posted from Pattaya on the Sukhumvit highway. The staff are very pleasant and would continue to work for a new owner. This resort has great potential for expansion. It is not too far from the Ambassador Hotel and that area is definitely planned to expand shortly with a race course, etc. I have been to this fishing resort with my wife and child many times we love it. The great thing about this project is you have all year round customers not just seasonal tourists, there are many Thai people come down from Bangkok, etc, to fish, dine and stay in the chalets.
